Crystal Descale Powder is an acidic powder that removes scale and residue build-up in the dishwasher and other hot water appliances. Suitable for:

• Dishwashers – commercial and domestic
• Washing machines – commercial and domestic
• Urns
• Kettles
• Hot water systems and pipes

The build-up of scale (limescale – calcium carbonate) and greasy food residues in appliances affects hygiene and decreases efficiency, leading to increased running costs and reduced life of the appliance. Scale is particularly severe in hardwater areas.

Benefits:

• Dissolves built up calcium, limescale, mineral deposits, rust and tarnish in hot water appliances
• Rapidly cleans scale from plastic and metal parts (including internal pipes and valves) and removes rust stains and hard water deposits
• Also excellent for treating general rust scale and water staining in bathtubs, toilet bowls and sinks, and easily removes tarnish and mineral deposits from stainless steel shower heads

How to use:

• Dishwashers: Add 1 cup (150g) into the wash tank and run 1 or 2 cycles.
• Commercial: Use once a week, or as required.
• Domestic: Use once a month, or as required.
• Kettles, Urns etc: Add 1/2 cup to pre-filled kettle or 1 cup to pre-filled urn and leave to soak. Rinse and repeat if necessary.
